Daiwa spinmatic travel rod review.

Reviewed in the united states on october 17 2015 this rod is very light weight which is exactly what i wanted as i use 2lb test line on it to catch small brook trout in the high sierras. Unfortunately the pole broke on the 2nd smallest section during my 2nd fishing trip with this rod. Just remeber it is an ultrlite pole so don t expect to be landing 20 pound fish with it unless you are careful. Spinmatic d rods are built using the same great quality as the original spinmatic rods but are now lighter and more sensitive.

Ultra light 7 inch verified purchase i have two i use them for trout fishing and they do a wonderful job far casting smooth great action all around great rod. The spinmatic rod is also not as whippy as the presso which i think adds to the sensitivity. I was scared daiwa spinmatic rods will be poor because for its price 44 99.
